In the life of each of us, there was a LEGO. It used to be mostly in the form of plastic toys, but today it is associated with the digital adventures of famous characters. We love Lego games, and now it’s worth finding out which ones are really the best? You will find the answer to this question in this article.
LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures
After the incredible fun we got in the world of Star Wars, Travelers Tales took us on the adventures of the legendary Indiana Jones. In the first part of the journey, we saw the exploits of the indefatigable archaeologist from the original trilogy.
In fact, mechanically speaking, it was practically the same game as LEGO Star Wars, but she wore a cowboy hat and had an Indy leather whip. The second part, based on the fourth film Indiana Jones and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, was no longer that interesting.
LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes
The second installment of Batman’s adventure in the Lego universe, created by Travelers Tales, was a significant step in terms of mechanics and graphics. First, it was the first installment in the series to feature true dubbing, adding an extra layer of depth to all the jokes and relationships between the protagonists of the story.
In addition, TT created an open world, which, although it did not seem sensational, really liked the fans of the series. In theory, Lego Batman 2 was more advanced than the first part, but players remember the predecessor better.
LEGO Batman The Videogame
After visiting all the galaxies from the Star Wars universe and becoming Indiana Jones, Traveler’s Tales decided to change the atmosphere of their work a little and for this, he began working with DC Comics. That gave us the first really good game with Batman in the title role. The creators once again showed us everything we loved Lego games for and did it really well.
Many of the characters, the original story created by the writers of TT, and the music related to the best Batman films have kept many memories of this game to this day.
LEGO Star Wars
2005 for the Danish company came out from the category “to be or not to be”. Today it is customary to say that the first game in the series from the studio “Travelers Tales” saved literally the entire brand of legendary and iconic constructs. Sales at that time were falling sharply, prices were rising, and interest in such toys was gradually forgotten. Fortunately, TT came here and, with her great Star Wars game, breathed new life into the plastic world. If not for this work, today we might not remember LEGO.
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4
Is there no better candidate for a Lego game than the incredibly popular Harry Potter? The magic of Hogwarts, many topics not covered by the film saga, and a name that will sell everything (as we saw from the results of a new, tragic, mobile game). It was decided, as in the case of “Star Wars”, to be divided into two parts, so in 2010 we saw the new adventures of three heroes that came out after the premiere of “Deathly Hallows 2”.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
Marvel would probably be jealous of its success in the video game field. Therefore, in 2013, a really great adaptation about Marvel heroes came out. Superheroes told their own story involving the Avengers, Spider-Man, Deadpool and even a few villains. Traveler’s Tales was huge because it reproduced all of Manhattan at a 1: 1 scale.
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7
2011 was the best year for the Lego games series. And on the occasion of the premiere of the last part of the saga about the wizard, the second part of his adventures came out. In addition, this part was published by Warner Bros.
LEGO City Secret Agent
When the Wii U debuted in 2012, Nintendo struck an agreement with Traveler’s Tales to prepare an exclusive Lego product for next year that would not necessarily be licensed. This is how Lego City: Undercover appeared, which made extensive use of all the developments from the previous installments.
LEGO Lord of the Rings
The Lord of the Rings is a great project for all adaptations. The world of Tolkien’s saga is a good example of the humor present in the novel. Traveler’s Tales wasted no time and also worked on the Fellowship of the Ring adventures, which gave us a very enjoyable adaptation with their own take on history.
LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy
The second part of “Star Wars” in the “Lego” edition lands on the first step of the top. Interestingly, the game is rated the best by reviewers and fans alike, which is relatively rare. Traveler’s Tales perfectly captured the atmosphere of the original trilogy, corrected mistakes made in the first part, and left the series forever in the video game industry.
